The Body’s Web: Understanding the Secret Intelligence of Fascia and its Role in Health
Welcome to this special vodcast, where we explore a sometimes unknown and often unrecognised foundational element of our wellbeing. Today, we’re exploring The Body’s Web: Understanding the Secret Intelligence of Fascia and its Role in Health, with a very special guest — Dr Catherine Clinton.
Dr. Catherine Clinton, ND, is a licensed naturopathic physician, author, and the Founder and Chair of the Quantum Biology Health Institute. With more than 18 years of clinical and educational experience, she helps wellness seekers and healthcare practitioners understand health through a systems-based, quantum biology lens. While in naturopathic medical school, her diagnosis of two autoimmune conditions and Lyme disease reshaped her understanding of healing and led her beyond conventional models.
In this episode, Catherine shares what fascia is and does, the reasons why it’s so vital to our overall health, as well as 3 main ways that you can help support it. She also speaks about fascia from a Quantum Biology perspective and how this helps us to understand health by honoring the body’s intelligence and its relationship with light, water, and environment.
Let’s jump in!
About Catherine Clinton
Dr. Clinton’s own personal health crisis became a turning point, initiating a long and rigorous healing journey that challenged conventional models and ultimately reshaped her understanding of biology, health, and resilience. Through this process, she came to recognize the importance of the body’s relationship with light, water, energy, and environment, relationships shaped over millennia and largely absent from modern healthcare.
Dr. Clinton is the Founder and Chair of the Quantum Biology Health Institute, an educational organization dedicated to advancing understanding of health through the emerging science of quantum biology. The Institute is actively pursuing research into a quantum biology approach to health. Through the Institute, she develops and teaches educational programs for physicians, healthcare practitioners, and health-engaged individuals worldwide, offering a framework that complements existing medical training while expanding how health and healing are understood.
She has authored multiple articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and remains actively engaged in research-informed education. Dr. Clinton maintains a small clinical practice in Eugene, Oregon, and is a sought-after international speaker, presenting on quantum biology, terrain-based health, and psychoneuroimmunology across global stages.
Her mission is to empower individuals and practitioners alike with a new perspective on health, one that honors the intelligence of the body, the influence of the environment, and the emerging science that connects biology, physics, and lived experience.
