Our bodies are always talking to us. They don't use words. They speak through physical symptoms and through the emotions we feel, and when we learn to listen, they become one of our greatest teachers.
Before I started the NTA course, my list of health concerns was long: digestive issues, low energy, difficulty conceiving, and more. Those symptoms pushed me to look for answers, and in the end, they led me onto a spiritual path.
Over the past seven years, my body has been my teacher, showing me step by step what I needed to work on. In the beginning, changing my diet made a real difference, and I felt much better. Yet something was still missing. My energy wasn't where I wanted it to be. I didn't feel happy with myself, and I wasn't truly enjoying life. Those symptoms guided me inward, toward my emotions and my beliefs.
As I worked through old emotions and limiting beliefs, my list of health concerns shrank to just three: my toenails, an itchy scalp, and a nose that never feels quite clear. Emotionally, I feel a thousand times happier.
One clear example: my scalp became itchy after months of holding in my emotions during a difficult time in my marriage. As I went deeper with my inner work, the itchiness gradually eased.
After years of this work, I no longer see my remaining symptoms as problems. I see them as messengers, and I ask them questions:
What do I need to let go of, emotionally or in my beliefs, to allow myself to heal completely?
What lessons have you brought me?
What part of me is still calling for healing?
The body also teaches through muscle testing. I still remember a time when I couldn't get clear results while testing my practice clients. It turned out to be a message: I had limiting beliefs of my own to work through first. There were other days when I couldn't test at all, and the message then was that there were energetic cords waiting to be released and open portals waiting to be closed.
These experiences have been powerful and profound, and they've changed the way I see my body. It isn't just something we feed to stay physically well. It's also guiding us, every day, toward energetic health and wholeness.
So I'll leave you with the question I keep coming back to…
…how much is your body truly doing for you?
